Bringing together our passions, our values and our inspirations. Interweaving talents, sharing desires and stimulating creativity. Taking the time to slow down, share a candlelit dinner, try our hand at painting, discover new artists, let ourselves be carried away by the sweet song of summer...
Inspired by the creative outpouring engendered by the meeting of artists who came to settle in the villages of Provence in the 1950s - Picasso, Capron, Cocteau, Brauner, Eluard... - Sessùn brought together its community of talents in sunny Lourmarin. Two days of discussion, sharing and creation to invent our own workshop village. A moment outside of time, where we could experiment, dance, savour... and be in tune together with the rhythm of our inspirations.
To take part in this journey, we put together a tribe of eight talented people, including old friends and new encounters.

On the itinerary for our trip: a visit to the village of Lourmarin, its narrow streets and terraces typical of the South of France, with an obligatory stop at Pierre Buisson-Kessler's shop; he's a ceramist and friend of Sessùn.
Then, for the evening, a candlelit dinner in the garden with our friend and cook Mapie at the Villa Saint Louis. Lulled by Julia's melodies accompanied by her acoustic guitar, this is where we took the time to meet, to discuss, to dance... And to savour Mapie's delicate and generous recipes.
The second day began with a meeting between the artists and Emma François, founder and artistic director of Sessùn, and a rich and exciting discussion about the inspirations for the Pre Fall 22 Village Atelier collection. We were immediately immersed in the creative energy of the painters, sculptors, ceramists, poets and writers who moved to the villages of southern France to devote themselves to their art in the 1950s.
To maintain this creative momentum, a plate painting workshop led by Franca Atelier followed, based on exclusive Sessùn motifs from the Pre Fall 22 collection.
We set up our headquarters for lunch at the Auberge La Fenière. Which gave us the opportunity to discover the subtle, tasty and creative cuisine offered by Nadia Sammut. After a nap under the fruit trees, the landscape gardener took us to visit the vegetable garden.
And at the end of the day, after a final stop at the Lourmarin mill, we headed to the Chateau de Lourmarin, towards the Yeah! Festival, which Sessùn has been sponsoring since the first edition. An evening filled with music and celebration.
This trip was an opportunity for Sessùn to strengthen its ties with a community of talent, to breathe life into our values and inspirations and to become even more deeply rooted in the Mediterranean region, the cradle of our history.
