Book Transatlantique L. Bourgeois

Paris-born Louise Bourgeois (1911-2010) was a transatlantic figure who spent most of her life in New York, where she settled in 1938 before becoming a naturalised American in 1957. An immense sculptor with a polymorphous practice, she was recognized and celebrated much earlier in the United States than in France. Marie-Laure Bernadac, a leading specialist in her work, invites nine artists from both sides of the Atlantic to express their views on this major artistic figure of the 20th century.
