The fifth issue of the annual Tools magazine explores the act of pottery throwing and showcases the skills associated with this technique. Through a selection of projects, objects and interviews, this issue immerses the reader in the manufacturing processes that shape design, craftsmanship and the industry. Each edition of the magazine focuses on a specific technique, offering a sensitive and well-documented look at contemporary creation and the transmission of handcraft.
Textile artist Margot Graziani explores weaving as an artistic medium in its own right. She creates works in which material and colour become images, inspired by mental landscapes and chromatic sensations. Each piece is handmade in her workshop in Drôme Provençale.
