This small black stoneware plate plays on the contrast between the raw appearance of the clay and a more refined, moulded shape, designed for use at the table. Clara Valdes, a young product designer and graduate of HEAR, lives and works in Alsace, where her artistic practice is focused on local materials and the everyday.
