Pascale Zintzen is a multidisciplinary artist based in the Spanish countryside, between Barcelona and the Baix Ebre region. She expresses herself through clay, bronze, painting, weaving, and lime. Her work is inspired by the Wabi-Sabi aesthetic, the freedom of childhood, and the Mediterranean atmosphere.
In her work with clay, which is central to her practice, Pascale Zintzen develops pieces at the intersection of functional art and sculpture. She collects wild pigments to decorate her clay creations. Her artistic vocabulary is informed by her experience as an archaeologist specializing in domestic ceramics.
