"Youth" is the debut collection of evocative images by Israeli photographer Alon Shastel.

It guides us through an intimate journey across a selection of his work from the past decade, capturing the raw spirit and gentle sensuality of the young individuals he photographs. Shastel’s keen eye for light and composition pays homage to the exhilarating and exuberant period that marks the transition to adulthood, inspiring generations of artists. The photographer began learning the art of photography at the age of ten and mastered the development of analog photographs in a darkroom at the back of an old bus. He endeavors to forge a closer connection with his first memories of Israel through the medium of film.
