Plate hand carved from a solid block of maple, smooth exterior, hollowed and textured "coral" interior. Colourless wax finish to protect the piece.
Each piece has only 12 models which are signed and numbered.

Artist : From their workshop in Marseille, the two craftsmen from Atelier Carles Demarquet continue a tradition of woodworking which is deeply rooted in the Mediterranean way of life. They design unique or limited series pieces, modern, solar and aquatic objects inspired by archaeological remains.

Measurements : Diameter 31 cm - Thickness 3 cm

Technique : Shape cut with a band saw. Hollowed with a grinder and then "coral" texturing with a cutter. The non-textured parts are sanded and then the object is waxed.
