Most artists have at some time represented the human hand, the absolute symbol of creation. Also, there are many for whom the hand as a subject in its own right is a recurring theme. This observation inspired Cécile Poimboeuf-Koizumi - publisher and founder of Chose Commune - to collect the works that caught her eye, without following a thematic or chronological order.
